I believe in fairies. I see one all the time. She loves to pick flowers.
The flowers tell her secrets and they make her giggle.
But she never stays very long, before I know it she is gone.
My baby is growing up! Today Lexy started soccer, and I am on a very emotional roller coaster right now. I have been crying a lot, but I am told that is normal of someone in my shoes. I just hope I can make it till she goes to school with our being heavily medicated. lol
We have just had one heck of a busy week. Tim’s mom and sister have flown in, his mom from Florida and his sister from Oklahoma. We had a really good visit. Here are some pictures from the past week.

Happy May Day! May you be out and about welcoming spring! I went out for a run and then we got ready for our trip to the Fairy Festival tomorrow!
Today was field trip day! The first grade kids were going to Hersheys Zoo America and to Chocolate World. I signed up to be a chaperone, because I always thought that the mom’s who did that were so cool and that the kids were lucky. Apparently there has been a lot of changes in elementary field trips since I was in school.
The school had such an outpouring af parents that wanted to go that there was a ratio of 1 parent to ever 2 kids. Which is really good. The little boy that I was to chaperone, besides Gryffan, I knew from the wrestling team. Now when i was growing up the chaperones went on the bus with the class, there was about 4 chaperones, and they helped keep the class as a unit. Well for this trip and apprently any others, the parents are not allowed to ride the bus with the children, EVER. The school advises you to form a carpool, and they were ever so nice to give you 15 minutes to make new friends and do that. (sarcasim) Lucky for me Gryffan told me that one of his friends parents were going, and I knew them, so it was easier for me to form a carpool.

We get to the Zoo first, and the kids were supposed to have a snack right when they get off the bus, but there really was no instructions for the parents, so we are all guessing at this point. We follow the teacher, where she announces that we are to meet up at the busses for noon, which is in one hour. And that is it, we are on our own.
The boys were awesome! So well behaved it was just amazing. They held hands so not to loose each other, and they were so excited to see everything. We heard that all 4 of the wolves were out, and we made a bee line to go see them. Now we are in a zoo, and there are HUGE signs all over the place that say “DO NOT FEED THE ANIMALS” and what do you know, some little kid is throwing cheetos into the cage. And she is from our school. My next thought it where is her chaperone. (sigh) Right next to the girl, texting away, is the MOM of the girl laughing, “Oh the wolf likes cheetos!” Well now the other wolves are hip to the junk food and come charging over. This is one of those groups of people that would be on the news going, I did not think that they would hurt us. I decided to take the boys away from there.

After the zoo, we went over to chocolate world for a quick lunch on their lawn, which was more like their landscaping. lol

Boys are gross!
After lunch we made it to the chocolate factory for the tour. Then it was back to the busses and on their way home. I had such a wonderful time, and I am looking foward to the next trip!
I am going to post all 3 days in one. What can I say about these 3 days other than there was A LOT of laundry washed. Just when we thought on kid was better the other one got it. It was not a nice 5 days here.
Gryffan is so very sick. Right before bed last night he started to complain about an upset stomach. I thought that it was just that he wanted some pepto because he likes the taste. I told him that if he still felt sick in the morning, I would give him some. In about an hour, all heck broke loose. He was throwing up all over the place. I gave him some medicine and we thought that he would be ok. He went back to sleep for only a little bit. In a half hour he was up again and sick. In fact he was up all night, up until almost 5:30. I hope that it is over quickly for him, because I hate when he is sick!
Lexy wanted her hair braided. So I decided to do a bunch of little “american” braids as she calls them. She sat very well for the whole time that it took me to do it, and that was an hour and a half.

After Gryffan came home from school, we headed out back to the feild behind the house to play. It was so nice out, I did not want to go inside.

Oh guess what else i did yesterday, I helped to coach Gryffan’s soccer team. His coach did not show up and the assistant coach was on the phone, so another mom and I took it upon ourselves to coach the kids. It was a lot of fun, but Now has me debating on if I will be able to coach his team too, next season. I definately want to coach Lexy’s, but can I do both of them. lol It isn’t the kids who are overscheduled, it is the parents.
We went down to the Hometown Farmers Market. Tried to get out early in the morning, but ended up not leaving here till almost noon. Crazy thing about this area, we left Atlas and it was beautiful and sunny and no need for a jacket, but when we got there it was chilly. What is it like 20 miles away? Got to love PA. We did not get to much, we were going up there to get underwear for Gryffan and only found one place that had the kind of undie that he wears, and even there they only had one pack.

When we came home, Lex started working on her foam bead necklace. She worked for about an hour. She loved it.
We went out for chinese tonight. Lexy may be taking authentic a little to far. lmao

chopsticks for iceream?
We rented movies too. You have to see the movie Barnyard! This cracked me up!
Freddy the Ferret: [the unconscious farmer has discovered the animals] He knows too much! We gotta take care of him. We gotta whack him!
Otis the Cow: There will be NO WHACKING! Okay? The farmer’s a good guy! He’s been good to us.
Miles the Mule: He’s a vegan! God bless him.
Pig the Pig: And, uh, what is a vegan again?
Freddy the Ferret: Oh, I know this one…
Pip the Mouse: Naw, I got it… it means you can’t eat anything with a face.
Peck the Rooster: No, no, that’s a vegetarian.
Pig the Pig: Vegetarians have to eat in the dark, right?
Duke the Dog: That’s a VAMPIRE. C’mon!
Pip the Mouse: You can’t eat cheese?
Bessy the Cow: It’s not just cheese, vegans can’t have ANY dairy products.
Peck the Rooster: Cake?
Pig the Pig: Cake has egg products…
Pip the Mouse: But you can’t have any dairy!
Freddy the Ferret: No dairy? But I LOVE dairy! Does that mean I can’t be a vegan?
