This cup was my great grandmother. She loved her tea cups. I remember certain things about her, her molasses cookies, the paper thin skin on her cheek and hand, her violets on the window sill and her tea cups. I pass on what I remember to my children. We cuddle under the quilt she made when she was a young girl and we drink tea from her cherished cups.

I don’t know where to start. I have so much to say in my mind, but mind to fingers to screen, something is getting lost. How do you describe the struggle of a preemie and her family? The ebb and flow of hope and fear that happens in a split second.

This is my tiny cousin Madison. She was born at 28 weeks and she is 2.6lbs. She has a long struggle ahead of her, but she is strong. I have never seen a baby so small, but I know that she will get bigger.

I always hear, “I’m to sexy for my feathers” whenever I see peacocks. They just have this arrogance like they know they are gorgeous.

I tried to have photo shoot with my daughter. She does not co-operate at ALL! To avoid tears I asked her what did she want in her valentine picture and she wanted a guitar and her cowgirl hat. Easy!

I want one of these in my garden. I have a total black thumb but my kid can grow anything. I want him to plant a great garden so I can decorate it with gnomes.
